For Our City

As we seek the welfare of our city (Jer 29), we believe that our cultural moment and where God has us planted matter in discerning the role Jesus calls us to play in advancing His kingdom here on earth. We will follow His lead by living on mission in our homes, neighborhoods, schools, and workplaces, at such a time as this.

Our Vision

We follow the way of Jesus"  by being a Psalm 1 and Isaiah 61 people

We exist to make Jesus known in our city, our nation, and the nations of the world. Our desire is to see sons & daughters transformed by His presence (Ps. 1), follow the way of Jesus, and be Kingdom carriers. Our hope is to see Him bind up the brokenhearted, give hope to the hopeless, and restore our city for His glory, standing as oaks of righteousness (Is 61). Our dream is that as we become more like Jesus, our lives and our city will be transformed.

Our Kingdom Values

What catalyzes the church is when its people become more like Jesus by demonstrating kingdom values.

  • Carrying His PRESENCE by making time with Jesus a priority

  • HONOR God and others in our hearts, words, and actions

  • Expressing GENEROSITY towards those God puts in our lives, our local community, and the greater kingdom work of God

  • Joy in the Lord expressed through a culture of GRATITUDE and CELEBRATION

Our Foundation

The Church Jesus established is a spiritual family commissioned to advance God’s kingdom on earth, seek and save the lost, and foster a sacrificially loving, disciple-making, missional culture.  Jesus equips His church to see people:

  • Transformed by encountering God (Matt 11:28-30)

  • Planted in authentic church community (Acts 2:42-47)

  • Become disciple makers on mission in their homes, neighborhoods, schools, and workplaces  (Matthew 28:18-20)

5 Circles of Church

Our 5 Circles of Church clarify how every person can dynamically participate in relationship with Jesus across the breadth of our church. At Antioch, we want our relationship with Jesus to affect and infect every area of our lives, which is why we seek to embrace each of these circles continually. We want to have a deep devotional life in Jesus, seek to be and to make disciples, stay connected in community, serve and participate in our corporate gatherings and live on mission where God has planted each of us. As opposed to focusing on one circle, we hope to grow in our holistic approach to walking with Jesus by committing to embrace all 5 Circles. Why? Because we want more of Jesus and we want Jesus to be glorified by, in and through us and His Church.
